June 9 marked the second homestand match up between the Vancouver Canadians and the Everett Aquasox. During the last series in Vancouver, the teams tied with 3 wins a piece, this time the Canadians looked for the series win.

The homestand started with a lot of energy as fans lined up early for their chance to collect an Addison Barger bobble head. That energy translated to the players as the Vancouver Canadians started the game strong, with Sam Shaw hitting a 3 run home run in the first inning.

Kendry Chirnios kept the energy going with his own home run in the second inning. The Aquasox tried to make a comeback in the fourth with a home run, however, this would be their only run of the game.

Dub Gleed joined the home run action, scoring his in the fifth inning. The Canadians would keep going, bringing in another 4 runs in the sixth.

A missed play in the bottom of the seventh would lead to Alexis Hernandez scoring a run which would be the final of the game.

The Canadians took game 1 with a 10-1 victory. They would continue the momentum in games 2 and 3 winning 7-2 and 4-2. However, the Aquasox would fight back with an 11-1 win in game 4.

Game 5 saw a lot of energy with the Chef Wasabi takeover game. Fans received a Chef Wasabi keychain upon arrival. Eric Snow also made his Canadians debut at short stop.

The Aquasox got on the board first with a home run in the second. They continued that momentum garnering 5 runs in the fourth with a grand slam and a single.

They scored another 3 runs in the fifth with back to back home runs and a single. However, the Canadians also got their first run of the game with a home run from Tucker Toman in the bottom of the fifth.

Manny Beltre secured the Canadians second run of the game with a home run in the seventh. The Aquasox got another run in the eighth, but the Canadians were looking to rally and secured 3 runs in the bottom of the eighth.

Despite their best efforts the Canadians would fall 10-6 to the Aquasox in game 5.

Game 6 would be the make or break of the series. The Canadians looked for the win, while the Aquasox looked for the tying game. The Aquasox secured the win, tying the series again 3-3.

The Vancouver Canadians are back home at Nat Bailey Stadium on June 30, where they take on the Eugene Emeralds.
