The Vancouver Canucks hosted the Seattle Kraken for a 2 day prospect showcase at Rogers Forum in Abbotsford. The games highlighted some of the top talent for both teams and what the future holds for their organizations.

After missing the 2025 playoff run the Vancouver Canadians fought hard this 2026 season to secure their spot in the finals. The Canadians saw plenty of action throughout the season with injuries sidelining key players, while others got promoted to Double-A throughout the season. However, players promoted from Single-A helped add new depth and talent throughout the season.

August 25, 2026 marked the beginning of the final regular season homestand for the Vancouver Canadians against the Spokane Indians.

August 11 the Vancouver Canadians returned to Nat Bailey Stadium to take on the Tri-City Dust Devils. The Canadians were coming off a series win against the Everett Aquasox and looked to go 2 for 2.

July 28 marked the Vancouver Canadians return to The Nat after the All-Star break and a road series. While on the road the Canadians collected 5 wins out of 9 games played.

This week the Canadians faced off against the Everett Aquasox where again the week was filled with celebrations to keep on with the 75th Anniversary of The Nat. Tuesday fans were able to collect the Short-A Pennant. While Saturday was full of fans showing up for Blue Jays day where former Blue Jays player Kevin Pillar threw out the first pitch and signed autographs.

The BC Lions delivered a dominant performance at the conclusion of the "Touchdown Kelowna" series at the Apple Bowl, securing a 36-24 victory over the Edmonton Elks on July 4, 2026. The Lions looked like a different team. This win was a critical turning point for the franchise early in the season.

June 30 to July 2, 2026 the Vancouver Canucks prospects made their way to Rogers Forum to take part in their development camp. The camp was made up of 25 players, consisting of 17 forwards, 5 defensemen and 3 goalies.

KELOWNA – The B.C. Lions were looking to build from their 0-2 deficit heading into Week 4 against the Calgary Stampeders. However, desperate to come out on top, the Stampeders dominated the game on Saturday afternoon, winning 41-33. In the end, it was self-inflicted wounds for the Lions that determined the final result.

June 9 marked the second homestand match up between the Vancouver Canadians and the Everett Aquasox. During the last series in Vancouver, the teams tied with 3 wins a piece, this time the Canadians looked for the series win.

Jen Field May 26, 2026 the Vancouver Canadians began their 6 game series against the top seeded Eugene Emeralds. As always this homestand was filled with events and giveaways to celebrate The Nats 75 anniversary. On Tuesday night they gave out Vancouver Mountie pennants, while Thursday was Dog Days of Summer, where fans could bring their dogs to watch the game.

If you have ever watched the NHL Playoffs, followed social media accounts focused on professional sports, or are someone who loves fashion, you may have seen the phrase “playoff jackets” or “WAG jackets”. The term ‘WAG’ stands for ‘wives and girlfriends’, and over the past decade if their partner's team made the NHL playoff teams they have created jackets to show their support. These jackets have their partners team logo, last name and number as the focal points.

On May 12, 2026 the Vancouver Canadians began their homestand against the Everett Aquasox. This series was filled with multiple celebrations for the 75th Anniversary of Nat Bailey Stadium.

April 28, 2026 marked the beginning of the Vancouver Canadians series against the Hillsboro Hops. After splitting the series with the Tri-City Dust Devils the week before they looked to get back in the winning books.

The Vancouver Canadians started their second home stand hot, after coming off a two game win streak against the Spokane Indians. The Canadians won the away series 4-2 and hoped to continue the momentum back home against the Tri-City Dust Devils.

April 7, 2026 marked the first homestead of the Vancouver Canadians 2026 season. Their first matchup was against the Eugene Emeralds.

The BC Lions are a part of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Their inaugural season took place in 1954, making them the oldest professional sports franchise in BC. The team’s history is one of ups and downs, hard work, dedication and perseverance.

The Abbotsford Canucks are the affiliate team or “farm team” of the Vancouver Canucks. However, before they were located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, they were in Utica, New York. The Utica Comets were the Vancouver Canucks affiliate team from 2013-2021. The team was then relocated to Abbotsford to bring them closer to their parent team, which had been a multi-year venture.

Nat Bailey Stadium, or most famously “The Nat”, is home of the Vancouver Canadians and is a staple to Vancouver sports. This 2026 season, “The Nat” is celebrating 75 years as a stadium and home of professional baseball here in Vancouver.
